My mom is living with us currently. She came to live with us while she got (on April 4th) and recovered from a knee replacement surgery. But – after the surgery, she suffered a heart attack (on April 7th ). While undergoing testing for the heart attack, they discovered blood clots in her lungs. It’s been a long haul for her for recovery. She isn’t eating much, and is very weak and in poor spirits, so her leg recovery is going very slowly.
If you’re reading this, please pray for her full recovery.
All my prayers and love goes out to the families, students, staff and officers dealing with the tragedy at Va Tech. May you feel the presence of the Lord, may He comfort you and lead you to peace which is available only through Him. May He pour out His grace and love over all those affected.
Our Heavenly Father tells us “If you love me, you will obey what I command” (John 14:15). God doesn’t scare us or manipulate us into obeying out of fear, He wants us to obey him out of love!
It is by His goodness, kindness, forbearance and long-suffering that He leads us to repentance (Rom. 2:4).
It is by His Words ~ Scripture ~ by which He teaches, corrects, instructs, and gives the wisdom needed for salvation through faith in Jesus (2Ti 3:16-17).
What a mighty God we serve!
